My Big Fat Fabulous Life<\/em> star Whitney Thore<\/strong> set the record straight about her father Glenn Thore<\/strong>\u2018s health in the wake of online speculation that he died.<\/p>\n

\u201cI keep seeing this rumor\u2014and I haven\u2019t mentioned it to my dad because I just don\u2019t want to upset him\u2014but like all over my social media, like, I heard Glenn Thore died and all this,\u201d Whitney told Parade<\/em> during a recent, exclusive interview.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear how the false rumors began. However, TLC teased a health scare involving Whitney\u2019s dad at the end of Season 13, Episode 1.<\/p>\n

\u201cHave you talked to Dad?\u201d Whitney\u2019s brother, Hunter Thore<\/strong>, asked during a phone call in the brief clip. \u201cI\u2019ve been calling him all day. He hasn\u2019t answered me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll just go into the security camera,\u201d Whitney said before gasping when she saw their dad lying on the floor in his house. \u201cOh my God. Call 911!\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite what it looked like, Whitney assured Parade<\/em> that Glenn was doing well today.<\/p>\n

\u201cDaddy is alive and well,\u201d she insisted, adding that the situation was \u201cone of the scariest and funniest\u2014you\u2019ll find out why\u2014and craziest incidents that I\u2019ve ever gone through in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whitney continued, \u201cIt was to this day, it\u2019s a story he\u2019ll never live down. He will never live it down. So yes, people can be excited to see how that plays out. It\u2019s hilarious, but he is alive and well.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the Season 13 finale, viewers learned what really happened: Glenn took too many CBD gummies, felt light-headed and fell asleep after lying on the floor.<\/p>\n
