‘Big Brother 28’ spoilers: Which icon is evicted in 4th place during 2-hour live episode?

Gold Derby is serving up Big Brother 28 spoilers all summer long. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
When we left off on Wednesday night, Melody Morris had just been evicted early after Rick Devens chose to side with fellow icon Dee Valladares over his loyal soldier Drew Campbell. While the move solidified that at least one of the icons would advance to the final three, Dee hoped it also created enough distance between Drew and Devens that it would be possible for both icons to make it to finale night.
Tonight, in a special two-hour episode of Big Brother, we see how the penultimate Head of Household and final Power of Veto comps play out and who the POV winner decides to oust as the sole vote to evict. Will it be Dee, Devens, Drew, or Taylor Brown that punch their own tickets to the final three with comp wins and who becomes the sixth player sent to the jury house

Below we break down the key highlights from Thursday night, from the all-important HOH and POV comps to the second eviction of Week 11, beginning with:
Jury House
With Barrett Pfeiffer and Yash Patel’s arrival at the Jury House, La Trice Verrett and Angela Murray got their first batch of a new information from the game’s progress from inside the main house. They were surprised to see that Melody finally won some challenges, but even more shocked that the two icons survived yet again. Barrett could hardly believe that Drew chose the icons yet again in the Dee vs. Yash vote, Angela pointed out that Taylor is “the main coaster now,” and they correctly surmised that Melody would likely be the next one to join them on the jury.
Head of Household
The two-round vampire-themed comp inspired by the new series Eternally Yours was a race to decipher photo clues in a mansion to figure out which former houseguest is masquerading as the vampire and then assemble a multi-sided puzzle of their fanged-up face. In round one, Taylor was the last to figure out that Jason De Puy was the vampire, but she managed to piece together his face more quickly than Dee and so both she and Drew advanced. “I fumbled the bag on this one,” said Dee as she teared up knowing that she made her journey to the final three that much harder for herself.
In the second round, Drew was the first one to recognize that the puzzle must be Lyric’s face this time and so he got another head start after blowing Taylor out of the water in the first round. Abandoning his original strategy of assembling the outer edge first, Drew quickly fell behind and Taylor somehow had enough time to buzz in incorrectly, fix her puzzle, and then correctly buzz in to collect her most important win of the season. In everyone else’s “worst case scenario,” Taylor officially became the first entrant into the final three!
Power of Veto
As HOH, Taylor was responsible for nominating two people for eviction. Even though the POV ultimately determines who the final two nominees will be, Taylor knew that the two she named as initial nominees could be seen as a threat and so she chose to nominate Drew and Dee. She left Devens off in order to make him feel comfortable and nominated her closest ally Dee to hide the fact that they made a deal to take each other to the final two over either of the guys.
In the fight for the final POV, the four players put their game memory to the test by racing to recall on which day certain events from the season took place. Over the course of the comp, Dee was eliminated first for being the slowest on three different questions. Devens was eliminated next and then Drew managed to finish the comp without ever being the slowest, eliminating Taylor in round nine and booking his own ticket to the final three as the Veto winner!
Live Eviction
After hearing pitches from his two options, Drew had to make a decision on who to evict and send to the jury. Dee did her best to explain to Drew how from the jury’s perspective, he’s played the game to the benefit of Devens and for that reason he’s the only one he can’t beat at the end. Devens made the pitch that they have comp wins in common, but what Dee can promote for herself in the final speech is nothing he will ever be able to overcome in front of the jury.
Once Drew removed himself from the block and Devens officially replaced him in the nomination chair, Drew made the personally tough decision to evict his “big sister” Dee. On her way out, Dee told Drew that she’s “so proud” of him and that she does not envy the position he was in to choose between two of his allies. In her exit interview with Julie Chen Moonves, Dee expressed that she actually thought Drew had “that killer instinct” to evict Devens and she only realized “in the last 30 minutes” that he wasn’t going to. She also admitted that she would have “weighed the options,” but ultimately “would have brought Devens as well” despite thinking that she would have lost to him in the end anyway.
