ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: We haven’t had a chance to speak since Haley was eliminated. What’s your take on how that all played out and the choices players made in those competitions in terms of safety and sacrifice?
JULIE CHEN MOONVES: Barrett stepped up and made a smart move sending in Yash to compete in the last round against Haley… despite the wishes of the Crossovers. Dee did the respectable and right thing in saving Devens. She had to for the sake of appearances to others, and he used the Diamond Power of Veto to save her a few weeks ago.

Rick Devens volunteered to go up on the block, and it looks like he may have been evicted had he lost the BB Block Buster. What’s your reaction to him putting himself in danger like that?
I thought: Wow, this could be the worst game move ever… had he lost the Block Buster.
What do you make of your sister from another mister Lala getting evicted and her time in the Big Brother house?
She made me so proud as a fellow female in her 50s! She made big contributions to our reputation as a game where you must expect the unexpected. Winning the legendary Head of Household Wall competition makes her iconic, in my humble opinion. That, and her making her confusion into strategy and giving it a hashtag is brilliant and hilarious! I love Lala. She is indeed my sister from another mister!!!

Finally, Jay Mohr said he doesn’t see how Dee loses at this point. Do you agree of his assessment of her game?
No. She has a huge target on her back and many future members of the Jury not loving her. We shall see if Jay Mohr is right come October 1. Or sooner! Stay tuned and expect the unexpected!
