Nathan Gallagher of Below Deck Mediterranean is wanted on an arrest warrant in Australia.

On Tuesday, Sept. 1, New South Wales Police announced on social media the reality star, 28, is wanted on an outstanding warrant in Sydney as authorities are attempting to locate him. The news comes as the reality star was due to return to court on Tuesday, after he was granted conditional bail following a report of an alleged assault.

Gallagher is “believed to be offshore” and is “known to frequent the Ermington and Melrose Park areas,” according to authorities. He is described as “being of Caucasian appearance,” about 5’4 and “with a medium build,’” per NSW Police. Those with information on his whereabouts are urged to contact Ryde Police Station or Crime Stoppers.

Authorities also shared Gallagher’s mugshot to Facebook. When reached for comment by PEOPLE, a spokesperson for NSW Police had no further comment at the time.

Officers with the Ryde Police Area Command initially arrested Gallagher in Melrose Park around 8:45 a.m. on Dec. 27, 2025, NSW Police previously shared with PEOPLE. He was accused of assaulting a 29-year-old woman the day before. The woman did not suffer any serious injuries, according to police.

Gallagher was then taken to Gladesville Police Station and charged with three offenses related to domestic violence: assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent and common assault, according to authorities.

He initially refused bail before appearing in Bail Division Court 7 on Dec. 28, where he was granted conditional bail, and was ordered to appear at Burwood Local Court on Jan. 15, 2026, per authorities.

Gallagher previously addressed his legal situation in a statement to Rolling Stone on Aug. 26, saying that he has “made mistakes,” while claiming he has “evidence” that he believes provides additional context surrounding the events that led to his December arrest.

“I don’t believe the public has heard the full story surrounding what happened,” Gallagher told the outlet, adding that “what has been publicly reported, however, represents only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation.”

Gallagher also said his priority was his young son and finding a way to co-parent with his former partner and Below Deck Mediterranean costar Gael Cameron.

Gallagher was scheduled to appear at the same court on Tuesday.

Ireland’s Donegal Daily also reported that Gallagher was previously charged with assaulting another man in August 2022 and allegedly failed to appear in court. A court spokesperson confirmed to PEOPLE that a bench warrant was later requested and ordered for his arrest in Dungloe District Court on April 8, 2025.

Gallagher and Cameron welcomed their first child together last year. They met while filming the Bravo show’s ninth season. After welcoming their son, Kayden Cameron-Gallagher, in June 2025, they shared photos of themselves holding their newborn on Instagram Stories. Gallagher wrote that it was “time to soak up every minute with this little guy.”
